Holly Lane is a thriving badminton club based at Backwell School in North Somerset. We play on Saturday mornings all year round from 10am to 12 noon, on four courts. Occasional coaching sessions are led by Level 3 coach James Elkin, working on racket techniques, footwork and doubles positioning.
Venue
We play in the old hall at Backwell School sports centre. Parking is available in the main car park, and we meet in the building marked ‘Old Sports Hall’ in the bottom right hand corner of the map below (NB not ‘Sports Hall’).
Costs
There is an annual membership fee of £50 (paid in September each year, can be calculated pro rata for new members joining throughout the year), and a weekly shuttle/court fee of £3.50 for members. The visitors’ fee is £6.
